The short version: this website collects as close to nothing as a website can. The long version follows, in plain English.
01Who we are
Foundry North Studio Ltd is a design studio registered in England and Wales, operating from Gable Works, Unit 4, 61 Corporation Wharf, Manchester M4 5DL, United Kingdom. For anything related to this policy, write to studio@foundrynorth.example.
02What this website collects
This website sets no analytics cookies, no advertising trackers, and no fingerprinting scripts. We do not use third-party analytics services. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, request time, and the page requested — for security and capacity purposes, retained for 30 days and then deleted.
The enquiry form on our contact page does not transmit anything to us or to any third party. It drafts an email inside your own mail client; until you choose to send that email, nothing leaves your device.
03What happens when you email us
If you contact us by email, we hold your correspondence for as long as the conversation — and any resulting engagement — remains active, and for up to six years afterwards where required for contractual or tax purposes. We never sell, rent, or share your details with anyone, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you explicitly ask to be on one.
04Job applications
Application materials for open roles are shared only with the people involved in hiring for that role. If your application is unsuccessful we delete your materials within six months, unless you ask us to keep them on file for future openings.
05Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you believe we have handled your data improperly. Write to studio@foundrynorth.example and we will respond within one calendar month.
06Changes to this policy
If our practices change, this page changes first, with a revised effective date. We will not weaken this policy quietly.
